The hustle and bustle of football season has left me little time to craft these past few months but I have been doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that. One of my petite projects were these sweet pin cushions. I bought an old pickle jar of vintage doll shoes at the flea market in August and I planned all along to stuff them and jazz them up with a few bits from my stash. This little brown pair was my favorite, now completely mismatched due to a lost buckle...
Here are a bunch more, some of them not quite complete yet. I plan to keep one of the brown shoes and put the others up in my shop soon.
I've been busy sourcing new candle containers and choosing new fragrances for some additions to my candle section of the shop. Right now I'm loving Vanilla Hazelnut and Grapefruit Mangosteen. Pouring candles is something that I love to do. I love projects that are done in stages and it's fun to make them, melted wax to pretty packaging.
Last Friday night two of my friends and I took a soap making class. We had such a great time and the class was wonderful. This is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. Now that I'm armed with supplies and have enough know-how to be dangerous look out!! Who knows, maybe I'll have pretty sparkly soaps to offer soon as well ♥
